INSTALL APP

Search for Smart IPTV using the Apps Store on the device that you will be watching from. For Smart TVs that do not use Android, you can search within you TVs Apps section. If you can not locate Smart IPTV in your TVs apps store, try a different app.

GETTING A LICENSE

Smart STB require you to register with their website. Full details shown below.

Open Smart STB and when you see “Loading Portal”, press the Enter/Select button on your remote (the button in the middle of the directional controls (left, right, up & down)).

This will load the portal settings page. Select “System Settings”.

Select “Device Info”.

Take note of your “Software ID” and “Your Virtual MAC address”.

Go back to the System Settings page and select “Activation”.

Click here to order a free 7-day license from Smart STB.

Enter the activation into the app on your Smart TV.

Enter your Software ID and the portal of your provider and click on Continue.

If you receive an error about the portal being invalid, click on Yes, then click on Continue.

Complete the registration form and you will be shown a confirmation page with your Virtual MAC address.

Contact your provider and give them your Virtual MAC address.

Once your provider has connected your Virtual MAC address, return to the Smart STV app on your Smart TV, go back to the System Settings page and select “Reboot Application”.

CONFIGURATION

Open Smart STB and when you see “Loading Portal”, press the Enter/Select button on your remote (the button in the middle of the directional controls (left, right, up & down)).

This will load the portal settings page. Select “System Settings”.

Select “Portals”.

Enable “Multiportal Mode” and “Use Portal 1”.

Scroll down and enter a portal name and the Portal from your provider. The portal should look something like http://example.com:1234/c/

Scroll up and change “Default Portal” to “Portal 1”.

Save and select “OK”.

Go back to the System Settings page and select “Device Info”.

Take note of your “Software ID” and “Your Virtual MAC address”.

WATCH TV

The Smart STB home screen allows you to navigate left and right between TV and VIDEOCLUB as well as being able to navigate up and down through the categories of both TV and VIDEOCLUB.

Selecting a category will show you the channels or videos available from your provdier.
